Dear Zulu, I checked in my dictionary for polish word "dywizjon" and I found only words "unit" and "command"

... our first part wargame of polish campaign is finished. we´ve played de Mlawa and Ochota fights. and the further games will be the Bzura counterattack and the intense figths of the Black Brigade.
the Mlawa´s combat were to hard for the german player, but the weight of human reinforcements and material (air support) were decisive. but -in game termes- the final result was a german minor victory. The Ochota fights were very , very hard, but the polish player was unable to recreate the historical hard and victoriuos resistance (due some very unfortunable dice odds...) so again, a german minor victory.
well... see you and thank you very much fot the information... still hard wargaming |

About Mława yes its hard to attack Polish forces. First You attack Mazowiecka Cavalry Brigade positions. Attacking 20th Inf.Div will reduce germans strength. when you brake calvalry positions then you have to watch on your left flank (after 3-4 semtember Poles can attack with 1st , 18th and 41st Inf Divisions and cut your forces in half.
I recommend Pomorze , Piotrków and Śląsk to play. The best is to play all campaign. it takes time by its worth |

i have a curiosity.
i know -more or less- how many polish soldiers survive and scape to continue the fight against the nazis. but , in the concrete case of the Black Brigade... how were?. or how many of the original numbers (soldiers) fought with the allies in the D-Day or Falaise campaign?.
and another question
how do you valorate the plans and actions of the polish great commando ´till the hole campaign?
thank you very much |

Black Brigade = 10th Motorized Cavalry Briga http://en.wikipedia.org/w...Cavalry_Brigade
From Poland to Hungary get through 60 % soldiers, from Black Brigade. However in Normandy stay from Black Brigade perhaps ~ 30\25 % soldiers. But its may opinion, thus its not scientific opinion. Sorry for may english. |
